Mark Jacobson, the founder and president of LegalSearch, began his career working at a large international law firm and then a smaller boutique firm. After several years practicing law he moved into recruiting, spending time at two firms, including one of the oldest legal recruiting firms in Manhattan.

Applying his experience as a lawyer, and the knowledge gained from years in recruiting at other firms, Mark developed a streamlined and effective approach to interpreting and satisfying the needs of both law firms and lawyers, and opened LegalSearch in 1998. The company is dedicated to the compatible goals of guiding the career paths of attorneys and successfully responding to client requirements.

LegalSearch is staffed with other former practicing attorneys, as well as former recruitment coordinators - all of whom understand the maze of law firm and in-house positions and work closely with our clients and candidates to assure a good fit.

LegalSearch, Inc. follows the rules and ethics of NALSC and works with both national and international clients, enabling attorneys to relocate virtually anywhere in the country and the world.
